Go for a Drive, See the Wildlife

To see some of the most beautiful and unique wildlife in the country, simply grab your binoculars, hop in the car and go for a drive around Jackson Hole. Route 89 and Moose Wilson Road are the main roads through Jackson Hole, and offer spectacular views of the countryside and wildlife with plenty of opportunities to pull over for a closer look. Gros Ventre and Antelope Flats roads are two other great roads for viewing wildlife, and are easily accessible.

The majestic Teton Mountains offer hikers a beautiful wilderness experience with numerous day trip options. One of our favorite trips is the hike to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. Take the ferry across Jenny Lake and enjoy views from the water and the mountains.

The Jackson Hole Rodeo is one of the most exciting parts of Jackson Hole’s mountain heritage and culture. Rodeos start at 8 p.m. and feature bold cowboys taking on breathtaking challenges with wild bucking animals. Arrive early, and buy your tickets online for a discounted price.
